If you don't want to use PHP and code things yourself I've made a Signature to Image action you can add to any form. Only $4.99 AUD on my site.
Instead of having to use PHP code blocks and put in full server paths and filenames yourself, with my action you just put in the data provider, the path you want the image saved in (you can use {path:front} shortcodes!), and optionally a filename for the image.
