I've created a tutorial on how to set up and use GPG Encryption for use with Chronoforms v5 in Joomla running on a Ubuntu 16.04 LTS Nginx/PHP7 setup.
It was developed using the v4 FAQ, the GPG bug forum posts and some elbow grease.
