TCPDF does not return the filename

h.it. 07 Mar, 2018
Hi,
Has the functionality of TCPDF changed as I cannot get the filename using {var:tcpdf_name.path} since updating and installing CETCPDF.
We used this info to attach the PDFs to emails.
There is no file info in debug either.

Cheers,
Jon

Answer
Hi Jon,

No, this has not been changed, but its only valid if the TCPDF action is set to store the file.

Hi Max,Thanks for your reply, please see the attached screen shots, I have created a simple form with two fields and a submit button and the submit event has a TCPDF followed by a DEBUG. The PDF file is created and stored with the timestamped filename, but there is no TCPDF file info in the debug for me to use in subsequent actions (email etc.). Am I doing something wrong? This is since updating CF6 to 6.0.17 and installing CETCPDF 1.0.0.

Cheers,

Hi (again),we have the first part fixed, we had a typo in the {var:tcpdf_name.path}, we're not sure how it got there as we didn't change anything! There still isn't any debug info though.

Hi Jon,

The TCPDF action does not show debug info but the next update should display the debug info, I'm glad you could fix the file path for now, what else is not resolved ?

Could I also ask you which browser your are using ? this is because we are having a new forum editor but your post has extra characters and I would like to know how they ended there, did you copy/paste the post text from somewhere ? I'm speaking about the post with the attachment images.

Thanks!

Hi,That was a windows 10 PC but using IE11, it had problems deleting line breaks and seems to insert and/or jump all over the place if you go back and try to correct things! Time to get another browser I think! The only problem I had remaining was no debug info so nothing too serious.

Cheers,
Jon
