How to upgrade ?

Hi,
I've installed for a long time Chronoforms 5 and i would like upgrade this version to Chronoforms 6..
How can i upgrade and use already created forms ?

Hi JP.

You can export your forms from CFv5 and import them into CFv6 but you will only get the Form HTML and the styling and classes will not be the standard CFV5 ones.

IMHO it is simpler to run both CFv5 and CFv6 on your site and to re-build your forms in CFV6 when they need to be updated - or you have free times.

Thanks for your answer. I did what you suggest . I mean that i tried to re-create the forms having both CFV5 and CFV6 installed.
However it seems that i have now a limit as while trying to display the CFV6 forms (same as the CFV5 one) i get this error several times:

One element is not displayed on the frontend because the extension is not validated.

.. as i reach the limit of 15 elements which did not exist in the previous version... So i can't use this new version.

Hi JP,

Yes, Max has introduced a limit on the number of elements you can view in the front end with the free version of CFv6. If you choose to validate then the limit is removed.
