Paypal demo - Why only pay with paypal (I need payment with credit card too)

Kronosites 16 Oct, 2017
Hello!

Using the paypal payment demo on Chronoforms v6 we can use paypal payment, but always we go to paypal we only get the option to make login.
Paypal always give the oportunity to login or to pay with credit card on paypal without login in. Why we cannot use both modes using chronoforms?

Thanks.

Hi Kronosites,

Please test from another device or clear the browser cache, I think then PayPal will give you the Card option

Hi,
I have followed the instructions on this forum to set-up my Chonoform (5) and PayPal Redirect + Listener actions. The form works fine as does the redirect. The only problem I have is same as from the Kronosites above - after clicking my Submit button, I get redirected to the PayPal Log-in page and not to the PayPal "cart" where I could pay only using my credit card without the PayPal account. I was unable to find the solution for this problem on the web and would kindly ask you to advise me on this matter. Thank you.

To clarify - PayPal usually offers an option to pay withou a paypal account. But this action only redirects to the PayPal log-in form.
I have tested this as you have described above (cache, another device, IP ...) but the result stays the same. I need to make an option for a client to be able to pay using PayPal system. Thank you.

I received your answer by email - for anybody else with this question: this depends on the PayPal. PayPal detects if you have an account and then offers an option - either to log in or to pay (and create an account). No other setting is required in CF.

It's been a while since this was posted but just to clarify: the option of allowing "guest" payments (payments by people without a PayPal account) is set in your PayPal settings, and has nothing to do with Chronoforms or whether or not the user has a PayPal account.
