Chronoforms version 6.0.10 : MAJOR problem

NickOg 02 Oct, 2017
Just upgraded to version 6.0.10 and hit two problems that make this update unusable - at least for me.
1. Some PHP code embedded in a designer HTML block is stripped out. Presumably related to the new WYSWIG option.
2. When I recreate the code by switching off WYSWIG and copy and paste from a backup, the code runs but I am presented with a list of messages

One element is not displayed on the front end because the extension is not validated.

I can't seem to get a copy of that to upload as an attachment with this new look web site. 😫

Reinstalling version 6.0.9 clears the problem if you have a copy that you had not saved after the upgrade.

What goes???

Hi Nick,

I confirm the first issue, the editor is enabled by default now and this breaks any PHP, an update should fix this soon.

Regarding the 2nd issue, does your form have more than 15 elements and the install is not validated ? if so then the result is normal.

I confirm the attachment issue too, I will try to have this fixed ASAP

Hi Max

Pretty sure I have validated. I did ask you about that a while ago but will check when I get back tomorrow evening. I might need some help cancelling some old validations, Or happy to buy another set.

Nick
whoops - there seems to be another. Editing a post generates a new reply - as you can see. 😀

Hi Nick,

Please double check that there is no validation warning in your Chronoforms admin area ? if there is then the messages list is a normal behavior, otherwise there is a problem and I may need to check your install.

I have fixed the forums reply and attachments issue, thank you!

Max

Hi Max

As far as I can see there are no validation warnings though I am not sure what mean by the admin area. I can't seem to get CF6 to validate using my keys.

Validation error, you have provided incorrect data.

(I erased the key.)
n fact I have 3 keys for CF an CC - two of which I do not use. I don't use those marked dev02-vos03 on my set.

I am not sure that this helps. All seems to be OK at the moment with 6.0.9. This message

only appeared with 6.0.10

Hi Nick,

it's always advised to discuss validation questions using the contact page.

Please send me a message using the contact page and include a login to the website admin so I can test this.
