Use of mask hh:mm in text fields - validation during entering data

Validate time input using a mask in ChronoForms V6.

Overview

The mask hh:mm in CF V6 does not restrict hours to 0-24 and minutes to 0-60 during data entry as it did in V5.
This is a known bug. Await the next CF update for a fix, or consider using a modified calendar field for time entry as a temporary workaround.

Hi Max,

Please explain how to use the mask hh:mm in a text field using chronoforms V6. Previous in Chronoforms V5 there was no need to additional validation. If you used the mask hh:mm in Chronoforms V5 only numers between 0-24 will be accepted for hours and 0 to 60 in the mm mask section. What in addition needs to be done in Chronoforms V6.

Should I use a calender field modified for entering hours and minutes (as part of a date) instead of a text field with mask?

Thank you
