I have been using chronoforms for a few months now. Once i got it running, everything was fine. I have 4 different forms on my website and they are all based on the same basic contact form, just copied and changed slightly for content. all of a sudden i noticed that i wasnt getting as many forms submitted to me, so i tested and submitted a form to myself and i got nothing. i cleared the cache and one of the forms began working again, but the other three dont.

I didnt make any changes (that i recall) that would stop the forms from sending to me (just basic edits). I also hadnt been updating, but i just did the latest update.

Can someone walk me through some of the most common issues that might prevent a form from sending to me after submit? Im happy to share my code, or provide my page, but it helps me to work through the process myself so i know the software better.

Hi wyoe12,

When you say you got nothing - does that mean you got no email? Are you saving the form data to a database table as backup? If so, are the missing records there?

is there a basic tutorial for V6, on how to make, publish, and maintain the database for a form that emails you at the end (with a capthca)? i noticed there's a basic video for V5 on youtube. nothing for V6 yet?

I was looking in the manual, it is very helpful. I may have missed this, but one basic problem im now having is that my form sends an email when I load the page, rather than when i push submit at the bottom, also, the captcha is not connecting to the submit button. I know these are simple problems and I got them to work before, but i have forgotten how to connect that all together. Can you provide me some guidance. I apologize for such an stupid question.

I know very little about CFv6. The email problem sounds as if you have the Email action in the Load event and not in the Submit event.

What exactly happens with the Captcha? - could that be a similar problem?
