I am working on a redesign for a client, and have installed CFv5 and CFv6 on the site. For some reason, any changes I make in the Wizard Designer will not save - nothing at all shows in the designer when I save then repoen the form to edit. When I import CFv5 forms from the existing site it will not save any changes. Everything disappears.

Not at all. I created a new form, added a drop down element and an HTML action in the OnLoad event, saved, went back in and there is nothing there. What's weird is that when I open the #__chronoengine_chronoforms table, I can see the code in the content field for the form, as well as data in the extras field. However it's not there when I repoen the form to edit, and nothing will display for the form on the front end.

Could it be a server setting that is blocking the code from loading - if it is saved in the database then something is happening between the read and the display?

Well, I realized that the new account I set up for the redesign (on the same VPS as the live site) was created with PHP 7.1. I switched it back to load PHP 7.0, and all is perfect.

Hi Rick,

Thanks for the login - I just checked and all looks fine. There is a known bug with PHP 7.1 - on Max's to-do list but I think that he is preoccupied with v6 (and my web-host doesn't yet offer 7.1).
