Looking for a way to expand upon the google maps widget that's now available in chronoforms version 6.
First of all, as it stands right now, all that can be done with the google maps widget is just plainly displaying a map on a form. This doesn't include any coordinate picker/pin to extract an address or latitude longitude from the map itself.
I would like to be able to get a coordinate picker/pin on the map in the form and then use that to auto fill another field for a street address.
Is there any way that this can be done with the newest version of Chronoforms?
Hi ftpaul,
I will try to add this feature in the next update, you may send me a message using the contact page to get the new action update "once its finished".

I guess this feature didn't come out in the latest release?
Hi ftpaul,
Unfortunately no, but you need to capture the address from the map or just have a Google address autocomplete field ? like the one in the gmaps mobile app for example.

Any update on getting the map to display the location and not just the map? I really need this feature to work for my clients website.
Hi gacerbo,
You mean a map marker ? did you check the Google address field included ?

I would like to have the google address field place a marker on the map and also would like to save the lat and lon into the database upon submission.
Is it not possible to achieve this with the google map element?
I can't even get the google maps address widget to work with the google map.
What have you tried? Have you tried putting what you want into Google and using someone elwse's example javascript/jQuery code?
