Since I'm still using Chronoforms V.4 on the latest Joomla! available because it completely satisfy my needs, I just wanted to enquire whether I'm being penalised in terms of SEO, Security, or in anyother way compared to those who have updated to Chronoforms V.6.

I don't believe that there is anything critical in the later releases that you are missing. However, you should add your own validation/sanitisation to make sure that the submitted data is 'safe'.
