Hi,

A basic problem, I cannot drag fields to a different location using the CC6 designer tab. I can pick up the field using the cross icon, and drag to a new location, but when I drop it, the field goes back to the bottom of the form.

I am using CC6 V6.0.5, Chrome browser, Joomla 3.5.1, Windows 10.

Back to CC5 for now😟

Hi Tim,

You mean "sort" fields ? this is done using the up/down yellow arrows icon.

My mistake, I meant Chronoforms 6 not CC6.

In the designer I don't seem to be able to move fields to a different location on the form. The field drags using the purple "cross" but when I drop it it returns to the previous location.

I think that the icons are the same in ChronoForms v6 and CCv6

Problem solved, as Max said the yellow arrow icon does move the fields.

I was trying to use the purple cross icon. Just for my information, what is the purpose of the cross icon?

The purple cross icon is for moving elements/actions to different containers/events/sections.

I understand what tshirley means. I did the same error. I was thinking that clicking on the yellow up-arrow was moving the field up, and that the yellow down-arrow was moving it down. Things were working like that some time ago with Joomla articles.
