Use CF to replace new user form?

Hi! I would like to know if it is possible to create CF form to repace the default user account creation form? I do have some specific needs:
- I want tte user to select a usergroep (seller / buyer) and place them in that specific Joomla usergroup.
- I would like to notify (email) the admin about the creation of the new account. this email needs to contain the selected usergroup and the user (plain) password.

After this form is submitted wil,Joomla use the default actions / tools / forms to handle the new user creation? Like the registration / conformation email to the user?

Hi Jip,

You can do that, there is a save user action in v6.

The action will just save the user, it will be your task to create the registration email and the admin notification, or an email verification email, I have a demo form which I can send to you.
