Chronoconnectivity + chronoforms...

arrick 09 Jun, 2017
What I want to happen:

chronoforms5
Form 1 - User puts in data, hits submit, data is saved to db table. (Works correctly)

chronoconnectivity5
user looks at list, selects the "Edit" link to edit the allowed fields... that record comes up in form 2 to be edited...

I have the lists, and the edit button, but this is where it goes south... the edit button goes to a blank page.. so does the view button....

chronoforms5
Form 2 - user edits data, hits submit... data is saved to db (as same record)

What I am having an issue with... getting chronoconnectivity to actually load the form requested...

I have followed the view/edit FAQ's to no avail...

Currently Form 1 works correctly, and I have created a duplicate form (Form 2) and modified the field names to be model[fieldname] in all the fields.

Hi arrick,

Please try changing the form and listing names so that they start with a letter. In the CF code they may be used as variable names and they can't start with numbers.

Sorry, I missed changing the name of the edit connector...

Still get a blank result though.

Figured out the issue with getting the data in... now to get it to save the updates.

I needed :load, not :save as the tutorial suggested.
