Upgrading V5 to V6?

Hello,

We are using CF V5 on our site now, and i was looking for the information on updating to V6.

I would like to know if we update to V6 will all our forums need to be remade for the new version or will things work?

Sorry if this is mentioned elsewhere i have been searching for a while on the site and was unable to locate it.

Please see this FAQ - I've just added in CFv6 where the advice is essentially the same as for previous versions.

OK thanks for the info. Is running CFV5 a security issue since it has not been updated in over a year now?

Nothing that I know of - the last security fix was an upgrade to the PHP Mailer library,
