Hi!

Can we upgrade CF5 to CF6 or do we need to install both components side-by-side and migrate our forms manually?

I believe exporting forms from CF5 and importing into CF6 will only give us the fileds in the designer? Not the form actions?

How long can we keep using CF5 when upgrading / migrating to CF6 is not possible (or will maybe take to much time)? Will CF5 be updated if there are bugs or new features? Or do you recommend to migrate as soon as possible?

I can't believe only designer is migrated, not the actions. Have I to re-implement all actions on my forms from scratch?

Dude, CFv6 is very different from CFv5. No doubt the best is have both and migrate one by one manually. I'm using CFv6 on a test enviroment to learn better this version. CFv6 rocks, i believe that with this version we can simplify many things we did in the previous version with many codes.

Stay calm, learn the version and when y good, migrate to production. :mrgreen:

As Austre noted, many things are totally new, and old code may not work anymore, so in order to have a working v6 form and take advantage of the new features, you better rebuild the form if you want to use the new v6.
