Every Post made, updated or edited is getting Timed out once submitted but the post is actually there when i or anyone goes back in to check it..

Latest Chronoforums 2.

"This request takes too long to process, it is timed out by the server. If it should not be timed out, please contact administrator of this web site to increase 'Connection Timeout'."

Hi D3FCON,

Do you have the notifications enabled ? please disable all of them and test again.

What about creating new topics ? does it work as expected ?

Yeah i have notifications enable, i will disable them but that would really defeat the point of my Forum. Same thing happens when Creating and Editing, Or even replying.

It worked fine with Notifications Disabled, Do we have any idea how to fix this issue or is there an Update on the way so I can run the forum with Notifications?

We disabled the notification to try to find where is the problem.

Can your website send emails ? it looks like there may be a problem with the mailer and this is why you have this problem.

it appears to be able to send emails from Mass mailer to contacts. i will have a look into those settings i think your on to something here. Ill see what i can find

It seems to be back now, Email settings set to SMTP etc and no caching set on joomla site. Any other ideas ?

Hi D3FCON,

Can you ask your host admin about the emails config on the server ? just let them know the issue and ask if there is anything which may cause some lag when sending the emails ? because we know its an email related issue.
