Hi,
I am using CB on my site, and now I have installed ChronoForum as well. Users have their profile in CB so and login with the CB login module, therefore I would like to have an integration between Chronoforum and CB, so the user profile picture and be seen in the forum and the profile tab in the forum, links to the users profile in CB. How can I do that?

Hi Martsund,

The first feature is not supported, the forum can't pull the avatars from CB, but you can change the user profile link to point to the CB profile, you can enable this in the settings area of Chronoforums.

Thank you for your answer Max, it works now:

To be able to link from usernames in the Chronoforum to their profile in Community builder, open the Chronoforum component, go to settings, authors and in the username link path field place this line:

index.php?option=com_comprofiler&task=userprofile&user={id}

Now you link from the usernames to their profile in community builder.

No problems, I'm not sure if the profile image can be loaded in a similar way, I mean a link + user id, if this can be done then I can add this feature to the next update.

I would be happy if you would give it a try because we miss the profile image for better recognition and integration. The link works fine now as described earlier, and you could even have it as an option in your next update. If you are going to take a look at the integration to CB anyway, then It could be nice to be able to show "my forum topics / posts" in a tab in "my profile", like kunena is able to do.
