Correct the Save feature on field edit dialog

I have seen this for some time, and finally decided to ask for it here.

When editing a field's settings in the Popup, there is a button to "Save and Close". However, the dialog box saves changes regardless of whether this button is clicked. So, clicking the "X" in the upper-right corner of the dialog will close the form and STILL save the changes. There is no way to exit the dialog without saving the changes.

I would love if there could be an "Exit without Saving" button added, or at least have the "X" close without actually saving the changes.

I'm seeing the same when I check but I've never noticed that before . . . maybe something has changed; or maybe I just never needed to 'opt out' of some changes.

That's because you're good at what you do!! LOL. But a hack like me has been burned by this before.

Hi Rick,

There's a workaround to open a second copy of the form in another browser window, That way you can always copy and repaste any code that you need to restore. The important thing is to remember not to save the second copy.
