Hi janman,

It looks as if your web host security settings are blocking this - possibly because it contains php files. You can check with your web-host; or you can unzip the file and install the contents manually - the tcpdf folder goes into the /administrator/components/com_chronoforms5/chronoforms/actions folder in CFv5 or the /administrator/components/com_chronoforms/form_actions in Cfv4

Hi janman,

First, the TCPDF action needs to be before the Email action; second copy the value from the "File name in Data/Files array" box in the TCPDF action to the Attachments box in the Email action - the default is cf_pdf_file.

Please check screen shots, still not receiving anything

Hi janman,

Hmmm the name may be different in CFv4. Please drag a Debugger action into the On Submit event, then submit the form and copy and paste the debug results here.

how do i view the debugger info if it takes me directly to the generated pdf?
GreyHead 12 Oct, 2016
Hi janman,

Please set the TCPDF action to save to the server (and not do an immediate download) - you will need to do that to attach the file to an email anyhow.

Thanks bob that was the problem all working fine.
How do i add a custom header and footer (images) to the pdf template?
GreyHead 12 Oct, 2016
Hi Janman,

Hmmm with some difficulty in CFv4 I think. I do have a mangled - i,e, over-hacked - version of the CFv5 version that allows images.

PM me with the details and I’ll have a look and see what can be done.

Is it possible to change the php pdf render file?
Also will it be possible to save the pdf outside the root, the info on the pdf is highly confidential

Hi janman,

Good to hear that you got it working; and yes, you can save the files above the site root.
