Hi,
i’m rebuilding an old website and i'm using with Joomla 3.6.x. Now I’d like to move old forms (done with Chronoform v.4 in Joomla 3.x) into new site (Chronoform v.5).
Is there any way to move forms in a simple way without recreating them?
Thank you.

Hi damconsulting,
The simple way is to install CFv4 on the new site then back up the forms on the old site and restore them in the new one. You should also copy across any data tables if they haven't already been transferred and reconnect any DB Read or DB Save actions.
There is an experimental restore to convert forms from CFv4 to CFv5 but it is very limited and you only get the form HTML. Better to use the two side by side. Create new forms in CFv5 and rebuild old ones when then need to be updated or you have free time.
