mail error smtp connect

i have detected mail smtp error after latest update
not sure about the cause of this

What exactly is the problem?

I've seen a Joomla! bug with Reply To addresses (IIRC) in the latest versions, could that be the problem here?

i use joomla test in global-settings-servers and it works, so it seems CFv5 issue

i did a simple form that sent a test email

error I receive when executed is

i don't know why but I changed mailing method from SMTP to sendmail and start to work

I have same issue.
Website use php7 and SMTP for email.
I recieve joomla test email, but via chronoform I don't recieve anything.

I have also try to left empty chronoform SMTP settings and nothing changes.
I try as teldrive via SENDEMAIL but i get another error message:
Mailer Error: Could not execute: /usr/sbin/sendmail -t -i

Do you have any suggestion?

then I tried with php5 and it works

but joomla and other component regular send email.
On configuration I have SMTP security=none ( this can be a problem with chronoform ? )

I'm not clear what that tells me?

If you leave the ChronoForms mail settings empty then ChronoForms will use the Joomla! mailer settings and should send mail with no problem. Please drag a Debugger action into the On Submit event, then submit the form and post the debug - including the 'dummy emails' results here.

it works also on PHP7.

I have no idea - I have rarely needed to use those settings. You can try them and see.

What settings do you have in your email action - if they are correct then ChronoForms should send using the Joomla mailer.

Hi Simone,

As far as I know you can't directly use those without hacking the code, There is only the single Security setting on the Settings tab.

As far as I can see CFv5 isn't installed adsusedmachinery.com so the From Email address you are using does not match the site domain.
