I just installed Chronoforms V5. I recreated a form I had in version 4, but when I hit "View Form" I simply get an error back:
404: Not Found
Sorry, but the content you requested could not be found
I watched a YouTube tutorial from Bob Janes, and his new form tested flawlessly.......
I loaded in all of the demo forms, and I get back the same 404 error message.
I'm assuming there must be something basic I'm not doing right. Has anyone else been down this road recently?
Hi beykeysr,
The Demo forms should be OK, I'm surprised that you get a 404 with them. What kind of URL do you see in the browser bar when you get that message - there might be a clue there?
Bob
here's the resulting URL:

Hi beykeysr,
It looks as if you have an SEFD extension like SH404SEF installed and that is breaking the form URLs, please try disabling ChronoForms in the Component settings for the extension.
Bob
Yes, the original developers installed MijoSEF. I was able to find one area in the configuration that appears to have allowed me to disable it, and it at least gets around the 404 error, but still doesn't display the form.
It looks like there might be another extension I need to get from MijoSEF that allows me to better control it's functionality with ChronoForms. If you've got any notes on this, that would be great. I'm going to see what else I can find on the subject as well.
Hi beykeysr,
Please go to MijoSEF > Extensions and set com_chronoforms5 to Disable SEF in the Router column. Then click the Clean Cache button in the MijoSEF toolbar. I think that should clear the problem.
Bob
Yes, I did find that screen, set it to Disable SEF. I didn't think to hit "Clean Cache" so I did that, but still no joy. I'm going to reach out to Miwisoft to see what advice they can offer. There must be something else blocking the proper display of the form.
