Chronoform not saving changes and returns without any errors

We have recently upgraded our website from PHP 5.2/Joomla 2.5 to PHP 5.5/Joomla 3.5 to be mobile-friendly.

We use CF4 for an User Registration form with over 40 custom inputs (with some survey type questions).

The CF4 form worked fine before upgrade on desktop, but now some users can enter invalid date in the DOB input from mobiles.

When I tried to enter any format texts (e.g. yyyy-mm-dd), Apply and Save, it returns *without saving* or giving any error messages. Without any error messages, the developer or the hosting company cannot help fix the problem.

Here is the steps I followed to add the tool-tip type texts: Form Manager => Wizard edit =>DOB input configure => General/Other

Thanks for the link. I got the hosting company to increase the max_input_vars = 3000 and saves the form date fine now.
