I am looking to move a client site to PHP 7. The site is already running Joomla 3.5.1. I need to recreate some forms and connections (which currently run in CFv4 and CCv4) into CFv5 and CCv5. I see the FAQ that CFv5 runs under PHP 7, but I am curious of CCv5 does as well?

Hi Rick,

See the FAQ that Prof Calculus linked to. There are a couple of small coding bugs; and you need to install CFv5 after CCv5 to make sure that the latest GCore files are in use.

CFv4 and CCv4 both run on Joomla! 3.5.1 and there is no need to switch to v5 immediately.
