Hide 'Display Message' on a CC decline

Hello,

I have purchased the authorize.net addon and everything is working great except for when there is a credit card decline, error, or hold. The 'Display Message' is being displayed even when there is credit card decline. The reason I'm not putting the 'Display Message' directly in Authorize.net's (on decline, on error, on held) fields is because the form is offering two different forms of payment, one where they simply enter their account number. If they enter their account number and hit submit without filling out credit card information, they wouldn't see any message at all.

Is there a way to "hide" the display message when there is a credit card decline? Or maybe there is a workaround that I'm not thinking of.

I'm not clear where you have the Display Message. You can probably use an Event Switcher action to check the data being returned from ANet and display or process accordingly.

Normally I would put the 'Display Message' into Authorize.net's Approved or Declined sections, but since I'm offering an alternate form of payment, the authorize.net module must be optional so I put the 'Display Message' after Authorize.net. I'm also having the same problem with I include an email. The email and display message are being triggered, even on a CC decline.
