Upgraded to 3.2 Joomla, Chronoforms not 'discovered"

stanbush 15 Feb, 2016
I upgraded a site to Joomla 3.4.8. Chronoforms shows in the dropdown, however it throws a 404 error when run from the administrative menu. Externally it throws the error:
Notice: Use of undefined constant DS - assumed 'DS' in home1/alliedb1/public_html/components/com_chronoforms/chronoforms.php on line 16

Running 'discover' doesn't find the component, so I'm sure a reinstall is in order. I read the page concerning upgrading from 4 to ver 5. My question is, what's the best path here? Install Ver 4 and then migrate, or install 5 to start with? And do I need to remove the chronoforms directory before I do anything?

Thanks in advance.

Hi stanbush,

Please make sure that you have installed the latest release of CFv4 for Joomla! 3, that should run with out the DS error.

Thanks Bob,
As always, your suggestion worked. It wasn't being picked up as being installed, so I installed 'over the top of' the current files.
It appears to be fine now, as the test worked.

Enjoy your coffee :-)
I was wondering if your coffee purchases has gone up since I suggested that change. Just curious is all.
I hope it has. I appreciate your work.
(btw... Sucuri picked the ds error up 'incorrectly')

Hi stanbush,

Coffees are up a bit thank you, at least enough to keep me in coffee each week.
