my form has disappeared - starting to panic...

We have been using the chronoforms successfully for a long time.Today I was adding in a new field. As I was working I noticed that all i was seeing on the frontend page was the 'Powered by Chronoforms' link.

In the back end the form .... [attachment=0]appform.png[/attachment]

However when you click on the edit wizard all the fields have disappeared.

I am not aware that I did anything like 'delete form and start again'....

I have to say I am starting to panic somewhat....

We are running quite old versions at the moment as a new site is likely sometime this year.

the only recent thing was that I added another field to 'send to' email - but that had appeared to work fine. The last changes were new logo, colours stuff done months ago - form was used in the last couple of days fine.

I did just notice that the email (under the email tab) is still there.... so that's a good sign!

It's gone - the preview window and the code tab are empty. Not way of telling what has happened though :-(

I've recovered the form structure from the Email template - see below. You can use that to rebuild the form inputs in the Preview tab - copying and pasting it won't take very long.

If you have archived database backups then you might be able to recovered and restore the chronoforms record including the preview content from there.

Personally, if you are planning an upgrade later in the year I'd probably install CFv5 now, and re-build the form using that. Again, copy and paste will do most of it - though I would also give the inputs more meaningful names than the defaults.
