Hi

I use CF4 and CC4 as I find them easier to use than CF5 and CC5.

I have installed CC4 on a fresh installation of Joomla (3.4.8) and have found that in the administration area CC4 wont load. You just get a blank screen. I have turned on error reporting which led me to find that the system is looking or a sub folder called j3.4 as follows, but it doesnt exist:

administrator/components/com_chronoconnectivity/versions/j3.4

I have the latest CC4 downlioad; does this mean that CC4 doesnt work beyond Joomla 3.3?

I have tried renaming the j3.3 folder to j3.4 and this seems to work, however I dont know if any changes should be implemented to admin.chronoconnectivity.php (the file that is called within this folder) to be compatible with Joomla 3.4.

Any help would be appreciated.

Many thanks for the reply GreyHead. I had tried looking for the info but I was using specific version numbers so came up empty.

So long as I know the Joomla 3.3 file/folder is ok on Joomla 3.4 then thats great.

The FAQ indicated the CC component gets updated shortly after a new Joomla release, but Joomla 3.4 came out a year ago??

Hi bon-ja-mon,

That was certainly true when the FAQ was written but I suspect that, while CCv4 is still supported, any development work is going into CCv5 at the moment. I do know that Max - the developer - has been very busy in recent months.
