We have been using Chronoforms V4 with Joomla and migrating to Chronoforms V5 with WordPress. We installed the plugin on WordPress and trying to load the forms but they are not showing up on the pages that we insert the forms. Yes, we are inserting the forms using the tag:
[Chronoforms5 chronoform="FORM_NAME"]
Any ideas??
Hi Kevin,
What does show on the page instead of the tag then ? did you setup the form correctly ?

I am not sure what happened but the forms suddenly started working now although it takes about 60-90 seconds to submit a simple form. Any idea how to speed up the form submission? I am not doing anything fancy with the form, it's just a simple form that collects information (about 10 text fields), saves information to database, sends email notification and redirects users to a thank you page.
Maybe it was a cache issue, please post a screenshot for the form setup to check why it takes too long to submit.
You also have wordpress, and a known issue with WP is that some third party plugins may affect the forms.

Attached is screenshot of our form setup. Nothing fancy, just capture user input into database, send out an email notification and redirect user to a thank you page. I timed the form to submit (click submit button to redirect to thank you page) and it took a full 2 minutes.
What about the demo forms ? and did you try to disable other 3rd party plugins temporarily for testing ?

I disabled almost all 3rd party plugins and it still took over 2 minutes for the form to complete submission.
What demo forms?
Please click the "demo forms" button in the forms manager, and you should also make a quick test with ALL 3rd party plugins disabled, you can disable them without "uninstalling".

Do you mean "test form" button? I don't see the "demo forms" button in the forms manager.
Hi Kevin,
In Joomla! - and I think that WP is the same - there is a Demos icon in the Forms Manager toolbar.
Caution: only click once or you get multiple sets of demo forms
Bob
Hi Bob,
I clicked on the Demos icon and a bunch of demo forms were created. I tried a few of them but so far all of them are redirecting me to a "Page Not Found" after submitting the form. It redirected me to the page rather quickly but doesn't seem like the form data was processed as I am not receiving any emails. And yes, I edited the forms to have the user input data sent to my email address. All plugins are disabled except Chronoforms.
It appears our issue with the form submission long delay resolved itself. We still don't know what the root cause is but after moving our site to our production server we no longer experience the 2 minutes delay in completing form submissions. Our development box and production box have the same hardware specs and are setup with the same environment. Very odd.
Appreciate all the help.
Thanks.
