Redirect action not working on smartphone (android)

oloccina 11 Jan, 2016
Hello,
I have a form here:
http://infinitemandala.com/index.php?option=com_content&view=article&id=136

After successful submission the form redirect to

http://infinitemandala.com/index.php?option=com_content&view=article&id=137

On PC and Google Chrome everything works like a breeze
but I just noticed that on a Smartphone with Android
after submitting the form I am not redirected, the page refreshes and I see again the form page
http://infinitemandala.com/index.php?option=com_content&view=article&id=136

I tried several times with my smartphone, always get this issue,
do you have any dea what culd be causing this?

I attach this form backup in case you want to test it

Thank you,
Nic

Hi Nic,

I just tested in Chrome and on my iPad (I don't' have an Android phone) and in neither case does the form appear to submit at all.

I get redirected to http://infinitemandala.com/index.php?option=com_content&view=article&id=136&chronoform=preiscrizione-sfera&event=submit

I suggest that (a) you don't put this form in an article - there is no need, just add the extra text to the form and/or (b) you set a Hidden menu item for it to submit to. Please see this FAQ

Thank you!
To do that I have to switch to custom code right? I tested and it is now working, but I was wondering if there's a way to add extra text without switching to "Custom code" mode.

Hi oloccina,

In the Designer tab you can add a Custom Code element from the Advanced Group, drag it to where you need it and add the HTML. You probably want to turn Pure Code on to get rid of the label and wrapping HTML that ChronoForms adds.
