Chronoform Saves 3 times

NJM 15 Dec, 2015
Hi there,

Me again,

I have created a lot of forms with chronoforms. Works nicely!
Recently I have a problem and I'm unable to solve it. I don't have a clue where the error appears.
When I submit a form, so some information, it gets saved THREE times in my database. All created on the same time (min, sec). because of that, I get an error, that some info exists already (which sounds logic because it's set three times)

Any idea what causes the script to save some input three times?

Kind regards,
JMN

Hi,

I noticed it happens when I add the "Joomla Registration"-option. When this is added, I always get the error that the USER exists. As said earlier, sounds logical when it seems to (try to) save 3 times.

Hi JMN,

There's a loop somewhere - no clues about where in your post though. Please try adding a Submit Limit action from the Security actions group to the start of the On Submit event and see of that stops it. You need to add an Event Loop action into the pink On Fail box to reload the form; or a Redirect action if you prefer.

Hi,

Indeed there is a loop and I also don't have any clue WHY.

I've add the submit limit and then a redirect, but then it only saves to one table (and I guess the scripts stops then?)

FYI,

It's the same error as I posted several months ago....
