In the past versions of Chronoforms you could easily add images the outgoing emails, but under V5 that seems an impossibility as I get an error every time I try to add said images to any out going emails???
The error I get is : Cannot instantiate Email function!
What do I need to do to add images to outgoing emails and why is this NOT as easy as it was before???

Hi webzight,
There's no problem that I know of in adding images - and I also don't see how that would lead to the message you are getting.
What do you have in the Email template?
Bob

Hi Bob,
Every time I try to add an image to the outgoing email it gives me an error ;-(
Take the image out and the above mentioned error goes away!
Is there some special operation or function I need to use and also why doesn't the editor have the add image function anymore???

OK tried to insert the image again (drag and drop as the email template editor does not have this function) and once again I got the following error:
Mailer Error: Could not instantiate mail function.
See attached image I am trying to use

Bob,
As an added note I am using the JCE Editor as the site editor if that makes any difference 😲

OK I found the problem!
The Drag and Drop function will not work on the Email Template Editor as there is no PATH to the image file used :ugeek:
Once I put a link to the file in the IMG tags in the template it works just fine!
Pays to do your homework I guess 😉
