upgrade to latest Chronoform v5

upgrade ChronoForms v5 when the update is not showing in Joomla.

Overview

The issue occurs because the update server may not be configured or the extension update channel is not set to the latest release.
Manually download the latest version from the official site and install it via the Joomla Extension Manager; this process preserves all existing forms and data.

Hello
I am using the component version 5.0.2 issued on 24.August.2014.
I would like to upgrade to the latest version.

The new version does not appear in Joomla template manager when I click Update.
Should I download the latest version then install? Would this delete all my forms and tables?

Please let me know how to proceed. Also are there new features or security/fixes that require that I upgrade?
