How to make disapearing text in "field value" ?

Make placeholder text disappear in a form field.

Overview

The issue occurs when trying to add text that clears on user interaction, like a search hint.
Use the 'Placeholder' box in the CF form designer for the element, which automatically handles the display and clearing of the text.

Could You explain please, how to make "field value" in text box disapear when the user click on it or begin enter text?

Like in this site in field "Search all forums..."

Hi Dementiev,

Pleas put the text in the 'Placeholder' box of the element in the Designer tab.

Unfortunately, there are no any hints on hover or click on the title of fields in Designer tab. 🙂
