I also want to remove the menu, which is a joomla question, and I can certainly search for that.
A landing page is basically what I want.. any tutorial on that would be appreciated too.

Leave the Label box empty.

What menu do you want to remove? If you mean the site template then add tmpl=component to the URL e.g. http://www.learnblab.com/learnblab-register?tmpl=component
