Chronoforms V5 not compatible with Community Builder 1.9?

I've set up Chronoforms V4 to use as registration for Community Builder 2 before and it worked. But, I'm having issues with V5+CB1.9. I have to turn on Joomla user registration or I get a 403 error. In which case, I also have to change the settings in CB to 'allow user registration: same as global'.

But, no matter what I set things at (and I think I've tried every variation), the user registration works fine with Joomla Core but CB user registration does not 'confirm' or 'approve' (never has the green checkmarks on those 2 things like it does in the Joomla Core user manager).

I also removed the couple lines in joomla_registration.php that displays the 403 page... which removes the error when you have Joomla set to not allow user registration, but still isn't approved or confirmed in CB user table.

I'm just wondering... am I going to have to revert to Chronoforms V4 for the user registration to work correctly?

Thanks!

Hi tim92109,

I don't know anything about CB - I do know that Joomla! Registration has to be enabled for the ChronoForms Joomla! Registration action to work so I guess that the same may be true for CB Registration.

Okay... then the short answer to this is: No. Joomla Registration with CB integration selected in the Joomla registration action of Chronoforms V5 does not work. You have to use V4 because it has the extra options in the 'joomla registration' action that are needed.

Hi Tim,

Thank you - I find that a bit odd, I assume that Max tested the CFv5 action with CB - but maybe not the confirmation/approval part :-(

Not sure... I found an alternative route to accomplish this. I would post, but it doesn't involve Chronoforms. But, thanks for taking the time to answer.
