Hello
I created a Chronoform linked to a database.
I afterwards created a chronoform to be able to export the database using a menu item.
See attachment to see the form I created.
The idea is that on the frontend of the wesite you first need to log in and then afterwards there is menu which allows registered users to download the database.
However when clicking on the menu item the download doesn't start but gives a blank page.
What could be the problem?
Many thx
David

Hi David,
I cant tell from the info here - and your PDF won't open.
Download behaviours vary between browsers so I usually show page with a download link. That seems to work OK.

Hello Bob
I tried both Firefox and Chrome, but none of them 2 is downloading. My customer still prefer to the have the download starting directly.
How can I solve this issue?
Many Thx

HI David,
I got the pdf this time but it tells me nothing useful :-(
Now do you have the CSV Export action configured? If you set it up to save to the sever does it save a CSV file correctly?

Hello Bob
In the configuration of the CSV Export action, in the tab settings, I chose the table and gave a name for the csv file and also post file name. The rest was left blanc.
In the tab download, I checked the checkbox for immediate download. The rest was left blanc.
All the other tabs was left like it was set. I didn't make changes to it.
In fact I did exactly the same as in my previous form I created for the joomla 2.5. Now I am making a new site in Joomla 3 and needed to create a new form in chronoform V4. And now it doesn't work but I worked in the old site. Odd no?
Best regards
