CF 5 verification mail

Dear sirs,

is any solution available like in CF 4 now? I need it very urgently for a customer. For testing I use the free version of CF 5. Have I to buy the component to get this?

In forum I found 2 threads with solutions for CF 4 but not really one for CF 5.

What I want to do is:

a resend e-mail through a link from the receiver to a specifc e-mail account including the form input. (Similar to an email forward)
This resend e-mail is a confirming for the registration to a course. And when this e-mail comes in all is ok.
That's the idea, may be you have another?

I hope everything is understandable for you. It is very difficult for me to explain this in englisch :-)

Add an Email action to the form On Submit event and configure it with your address. (or just configure if you are using the Simple Form Wizard).

I found two threads about this for CF 5. But I don't want to do that with joomla registration. Is there another opportunity?

Now I understand ;-)

The action is no longer included - I guess it wasn't used much - but you can still do this.

In the On Submit event of your form create a unique random string and add it to $form->data['uniq_id']. You can do that in a Custom Code action or I have an action that will do it for you - PM me if you would like a copy.

Save the random string to the database table with the other information and set the status to 0 (or a string like 'unverified'

In the Email action add a link like this

<a href='http://your_domain.com/index.php?option=com_chronoforms5&chronoform=form_name&event=verify&uid={uniq_id}' >Click to verify</a>

Add a new verify event to your form and in that add a DB Read action to check that the uid value exists in the table and get the record ID, followed by a DB Save action to update the record to change the status to 'verified'.
