What libraries for CAPTCHA?

I am working for a site, the dustomer have its own Debian Virtual Machine installed...CAPTCHA generation does not work...what libraries are needed for CAPTCHA to work?

sorry, it looks like we already solved, the server admin just installed GD2 + FreeType and it's working...:blush:
