Hidden Container On Load

robbrich 07 May, 2015
hello
I have been setting up a form with some conditionals, and I thought I had it set correctly, but there must be something I am missing in the process.

in my form I want 4 visible fields (first name, last name, email address, and select location)

when they make a selection from 'select location' I have a conditional event (on the form) that will then hide that select field on change, and that is working perfectly

with that same 'select location' I have a conditional event set (on the field itself) to show some fields I have set to 'hidden' when the value selected equals 'x' - however, when I test this, the fields never show.

I have also tried placing these conditional fields into a container and have set the status of the container to 'hidden' and then tried to make that visible on the selection change, but it doesn't show. if I make that container a page, it shows, but all the time.

everything seems to be set right, so I am sure I'm missing something.

thanks
robb

Hi robb,

Hard to tell what is happening from the info here. Please post a link to the form so I can take a quick look.

Bob
thanks for your time. here is the link.

when you are on the form, the address fields should be hidden until you select from the location field - which will then disappear.

thanks

I have also tried placing these conditional fields into a container

For this to work, the container type should be set to "div".
