Conflict with Registration Form

Hello,

I've created a user registration form in V5 that is identical to V4 but it will not work unless I Enable the New User Registration setting in Joomla/Users Manager. I would prefer to leave it disabled. is that still possibles with V5?

I don't know quite how this is set up in CFv5 :-(

You should be able to leave the New User Registration enabled if you disable/block the standard Joomla! registration form. Would that work?

Hi,

Its a Joomla restriction, Joomla will not register a new user if the registration is disabled in the users options, so this must stay enabled, you can however redirect any traffic to the default registration form using a redirect component OR using a custom system plugin.
