Beginner's Question

Enable field validation in ChronoForms after installation.

Overview

The issue was caused by browser caching preventing validation scripts from loading correctly.
Clear your browser cache or test the form on a different machine to resolve the caching conflict.

Just installed Chronforms V5 component and I find that field validation is not operating in any of the demo forms (eg: Basic Contact), also the 'required field' asterisk is not showing. On the Code tab, validation appears to be set as I see code like: class="validate['required'] etc.

Is there something else I need to do after installation to enable validation?

There may be some kind of javascript error on your page, please post a link so we can check this.

Thanks for a swift reply. I am referring to the demo forms that come with the component, I have made no changes. I am logging in as administrator and viewing the demo forms in the joomla back end. I have now set up a temporary public link to the demo form but I would prefer not to post it here.

Update: just tried it on a different machine and it is working so it looks like it was a cache issue. Thanks.
