on hover text preview in frontend list

hi to all,
only a question, I have ccv4 and Joomla3 with an automatic generated list.
I have setup "Field limits= input_appunti:10" so this will truncate very long text for this particular field.
Question is how can I make an "on hover text preview" when users are in frontend list, so they can see the entire text when place the mouse on the truncated field?

You can use set the full text under a hidden element and use some tooltip script to do the hover effect.
