I have my data input form working nicely and now I need a form to edit the database table entries. I need to be able to edit the fields and save the updated data and also the option to delete the displayed record. I am not sure where to start with this, I think the form needs a means to search the database and then edit a selected record. Is there a "how to" or example I could use as a reference.

Hi Sid,

If you are doing this as Site Admin then the easiest way may be to use PHPMyAdmin or the MijoSQL or AceSQL Joomla! components and edit/delete the records directly.

but the FAQ is referred to the Chronoform V4, could you exlain us how to do with Chronoform V5 ?

The only difference I can see is that you use the DB Read action in CFv5.
