slides don't stay in container after saving

Hi all,

Because i can't get the navigation to work, or the multiple pages (doesn't go from page 1 to 2) i desided to make the form as given:
- custom
- container (slider area)
- container (slider 1)
- container (slider 2)
- container (slider 3)
- container (slider 4)
-Custom

container 4 is de slider that submits. i named the containers as step 1, step 2 etc. So now the user understainds it beter.
The problem now is that the last slide is 'open'. so i cheked the designe:
the container (slider area) is not filled with the slidercontainers. when i do so and press save, ithe desig is lost and back to an empty container and 4 slider containers.

any help?

The version I have on my localhost is v5. i updated it once i think beginning of february? But from the beginning it was v5. there is no message of a new update so i think I have the last one

how can i see witch version it is?

oh and it worked just fine, only this weekend it went wrong. I now tried it again and stil does not work. Am i overseeing something?

Sorry, you mean that sometimes it works but others not OR you mean it worked fine before the update ?

Please try to install the latest update again then clear your website and browser caches!

It worked fine, with all forms all The time. I did not do any update ( i think inless it is automated) But it stoped working last monday or tuesday. Did not do Anthing with settings or else. Did empty cashe already.

Maybe uninstall and install again? What happens with The forms?

I installed the latest version, over the oldone in localhost. At first sight it worked, because when in desgnermode the sliders fitted the slider area container. but also here; after saving, the slidercontainers are not in the sliderarea container anymore😟

made a new container (slider5) to fill it with captha and the submit button and some custom tekst. after saving i have an empty slider container and the three items are beneath that. It is very frustrating, because it workded just fine and looked very awesome. now it is a complete mess.

a new problem (but it is very minor to this one) is that the 'tooltip' sometimes shows the information and somethimes not. i can not reproduce the problem. it think it is togheter with the slider problem, because it shows in slider1 but not in the others

I made a new form;
in designer mode-->
custom
container
container 1
container 2
container 3
custom

saving the form.....and....
it stil is the same!

It is not a sollution, but I think when i start over the problem is solved. It is a big form with a lot of work in it, so I hope it won't get broken😟

Nobody else has reported this issue so I'm not sure how it happens, please try to update Chronoforms then open the demo-tabbed-form, check the designer section, and save the form, do you get the same problem ?

Hi Max. I'm getting the exact same prob. Was working fine last year, made some changes today, popping out of sliders. Updated, same thing.

It looks like the closing div on <div class="panel panel-default chronoform-container" id="chronoform-container-28"> is moving on save. I changed it in dreamweaver and pasted it in but it still moved on saving.

Please attach a backup for your form so I can test this, or attach a backup to a test form with the problem.

Also please test the demo tabs form, does it have the same issue for you ?

Here is a backup of my form. I tried creating a new form and that seemed to keep the items in the containers, but I couldn't see the difference in what I had done from the two forms. This backup is how I have it live now, ie I took the fields out of the container but still left it there so you should be able to drag the fields in.
I had a look at the tabs demo, but can't get in the backend to test, plus that's tabs instead of sliders

I have just tested the form, upon starting editing, no fields are inside any of the containers, but when I copy fields inside then save, it works as expected, so I couldn't find any clues on how to fix the issue.

Same problem here.
Latest Chronoform and Joomla.

I create form, have fieldset, in this fieldset i have 2 containers. In one container i put field and some more direct in fieldset.
Now i want to move this more fields in second container. I can do that in designer wiev, but when i save all is back.
So reposition is not saved.
