Ok, I am a compete newbie with CF5 and CF in general but I know this has to be an extremely task to do.. In my Joomla Registration form that I made in CF5 I have it hiding the "Name" text field and I want it to fill the "Name" text box with the string from the "Username" text field. I don't care how it's done, JS, PHP, etc. I assume JS would be the easiest but I could not figure out if I need to put the Load Java Script Item in the "On Submit" event or what...Essentially I want the name field hiding and the username to be inserted into that field so they user can submit the form.

Any help is extremely appreciated. Thanks for reading.

Hi Dark_Hatchling,

You can remove the "Name" field completely, and set the "Name field" setting under the Joomla registration action settings to the same field used for the Username, that should do what you need!
