ChronoForms5: issue with File Download

Hello,

I cannot find proper place in the Forum for that so that is why I am writing here.

I have ChronoForms 5 and I need have a form which after the visitor fills in s/he will be able to download a message. And after that s/he will be forwarded to Thank you page.

However, once I click on the test the submit button - after file download - nothing else happens.

Any help on this one will be very much appreciated.

Hi MIlieva,

If you use Immediate download then the 'control' is passed to the download and nothing after that in the form will be run. Can you just add a link into the Thank You page?

I am suddenly having the same issue on two of my forms, one is a basic form with a submit button. After clicking submit it should show a Thank you message but nothing happens and the other is to download the database for the previously mentioned form and when I click on the button nothing happens.

This did not happen previously but as of Friday I am having this issue. I am currently in y development environment so cannot send you a link to he forms. PLEASE help I am a newby and was hoping to go live but now I am stumped.

What did you or your web host change on Friday?

What issue are you having exactly? It sounds as though one form doesn't have a file upload?

Please try to test your forms using the "view form" link in the forms manager.

Hi Max, that is where I have been testing it as well as the test form option within design.

Ok, this is v4 or v5 ? what happens exactly when the button is clicked ?

It is v5, nothing happens once I click the button. You can see that the button has been clicked but that is it.

BTW one of them is the same form that I sent to you on email a little while back.

So the page doesn't even reload ?

No it doesn't not on any of the forms I have tried on three different forms.

Please send a link to one of the forms using the "Contact us" page then!
