Question,

Is there a component that can communicate with Chronoforms? I 'm looking for an events calendar where you can create an event for which you can subscribe . The registration form I would like to build with CF5.

It should be a check out if an event is booked out or that there are still some places available.

Currently I have installed JEvents v3.1.32 , but there might be another component that may work better in conjunction with CF than I know.

Anyone an idea?

Hi Mgingo,

You can communicate with most Joomla! extensions by reading from and maybe writing to their tables. I've seen this done with JEvents and with DT Register. . . BUT you do need to know what you are doing and it does usually require some custom PHP/MySQL

hi Bob, thank you for answering. Is there a tutorial or something to help me out? do i have to use the data read event in the form? To call the event dates from JEvent for which people can register to?

Hi Mgringo,

There may be some tutorials in the FAQs that help a bit but nothing for either of these components that I recall. There's a current conversation in the forums with Max over linking to CB that might also help.

Really you need to get to know enough about the component you want to work with to understand how it uses tables - and sometimes there are classes that you can call to do some of the work for you.
