Hey guys!

Somehow I am sure there is a simple solution to my problem, but I can't find it here:

I want a confirmation mail to be sent to the adress the user puts into the form.

The fieldname is "email" and the field ID is "text8"

I went to the email config and the rider "advanced" where I found the field "dynamic to".
There I put in "email" as well as "text8" - but in both versions no mail was sent to the sender's email-adress.

What am I doing wrong here?
Do I have to put some kind of brackets like {} or [] around the fieldname?

HI Ingo,

Just put email - with no quotes or brackets - into the Dynamic To Email box.

If that isn't working please drag a Debugger action into the On Submit event, then submit the form and post the debug - including the 'dummy emails' results here.

Note: if you are using the Easy Wizard you can turn on Debug on the Others tab in CFv4 or the Setup tab in CFv5.
